Island Condo Maintenance has been taking care of pools, spas, and properties on Sanibel and Captiva since 1971 — through hurricanes, rebuilds, and five decades of change on these islands. In 2026, ICM entered a new chapter under local ownership. Matt Smith and his family moved to Sanibel after years of vacationing here, drawn by the same thing that brings most people to the island and keeps them coming back. Every technician who was here is still here — now with new equipment, new technology, and the backing to do the job right.
Today, ICM is a full-service operation. We maintain hundreds of residential and commercial pools and spas on a recurring schedule, with certified technicians who document every visit. Our repair division handles everything from pumps, heaters, and filters to skimmer replacements, waterline tile, crack repair, and complete resurfacing. Our small-engine shop is a STIHL Elite dealership with a full-time mechanic on the island — meaning you can buy, service, and repair your outdoor equipment without leaving Sanibel. And through our Property Watch and home management service, our vetted team checks on your home while you’re away, flags anything that needs attention, and coordinates trusted contractors on your behalf.
